Just a smart choice for a weekend rest in Newcastle upon Tyne with value for money. The breakfast had a large varied choice and was freshly cooked to a high standard. If you're staying here, try to make breakfast time.

Had an awesome time with friends! Great breakfast and a clean, comfy room made our stay enjoyable. We visited the Quayside and the City of Newcastle Golf Club, both fantastic spots! Just a heads up, you need to request room service after your first night. Would recommend this place, we felt well taken care of!
The only downside was the mattress. it was too soft for a good night's sleep, causing some discomfort in the morning.

Cozy stay with warm vibes
Had a lovely time at this quaint spot! Perfect for our trip to explore the Jesmond area. The staff were super friendly, especially at the front desk. Breakfast was a cherry on top—full English, yum! Just a bit of a hassle with the dark lobby at night and the lock being tricky. Otherwise, a solid choice!

Modern decor in the double room elevates the overall experience. The en suite bath features recent upgrades, offering a nicely tiled shower and a functional towel rail, albeit with tiny towels. Breakfast delivers with great variety, freshly prepared fare that hits the spot every time.
Parking is limited, which could be a hassle, though on-street options are available with a hotel permit. Train noise can intrude during late-night TV sessions, and the lack of shampoo or soap in the room may leave some feeling a bit underwhelmed, especially in a budget hotel. One might find the bed too soft for comfort and have to search for spare pillows, which adds an unnecessary task to the stay. Leaving the key at the front desk felt antiquated and somewhat uncomfortable for personal preference.

Location near the city center provides easy access to metro stations and local eateries. Breakfast options shine, especially the hearty full English, which satisfies even the hungriest space smuggler after a long night.
Stairs throughout the hotel present a challenge for those with limited mobility, making trips in and out cumbersome. The mattress in my room felt pretty hard. I would have preferred a softer surface for a better sleep. Décor in places shows signs of wear and tear, with the ceiling exhibiting signs that look like mold and a hairdryer that seemed outdated, which left me uneasy about using it. Some odd noises from the next room's plumbing disrupted my sleep. the sink would gargle like an old droid after wake-up calls. No small fridge for drinks also felt like a miss.
